Our Trinidad Pastelles are a delightful holiday treat, traditionally enjoyed at Christmas with friends and family. These steamed cornmeal pies are wrapped in banana leaves and filled with a savoury mix of stewed chicken, olives, raisins, and capers.
We offer a variety of options, including chicken, pork & beef, and beef only, to suit different tastes.
Storage Instructions:
- Freezing: Keep pastelles frozen for up to 6 months.
- Refrigeration: Store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Heating Instructions:
- Steaming: Place foil-wrapped pastelles in a steamer and steam for about 15 minutes. Do not remove the foil before steaming.
- Microwaving: Remove the foil and microwave each pastelle for about 1.5 minutes.
