Description
Doubles are a beloved street food in Trinidad and Tobago, consisting of two flat fried breads known as “bara” filled with curried chickpeas, or “channa.” This popular delicacy is typically enjoyed for breakfast but also makes for a great late-night snack.
Each serving of doubles comes with tamarind sauce and is pre-assembled with the bara. They are individually wrapped, making them convenient to heat up and eat. They can be heated up in the microwave.
To maintain freshness, doubles should be either frozen or consumed the next day if stored in the fridge.
